Reflection time should be built in to the end of each unit of inquiry so that students can choose evidence pieces and complete a written/drawn reflection. to implement them as a tool for learning instead of the overarching goal of the unit. Tests will be smaller in size—roughly ten to fifteen questions total—and they will be used throughout the unit instead of at the end. I do not want to have a large test near the end of the unit because I think it gives the wrong impression to the students.
